Each year we tell each class that its members will shortly find out what we as teachers have been warning them about. We have been listened to sceptieally. in many' cases. lt does seem that each succeeding year is more dillicult than its predecessors. holds more unrest. tnore domestic problems such as poverty and minority com- plaints. and tnore international problems. as Vietnam, What a world we are turning you out into? On the bright side. you are reasonably' well prepared lor this world but by no means completely' prepared. there is so much you don't yet know and do need to ltnow. Only lurther education is the answer and you are not shut oll' from it. cyen though you enter the business world or the service. The answer to the question Will l succeed'. ' lies almost entirely with you. Wherever you go and whatever you do. remember that you graduated from the best district high school in our old city' and that the wishes ol the laculty' and the Head Master are with you.
