X6 LINC 62 XVe entered Roslindale High School three short years ago, filled with the uncertainty and indecision of adolescence, but witih a will to learn and a joy of life. The first years were not easy onesg the path of learning was strewn with many obstacles and pitfalls. The tests, the homelessons, the books, the studying-all were aeeeptedg all contributed to the building of our character. Happily, though, we discovered that school was not all work and no play . We par- ticipated eagerly in the games and activities which not only relieved the tension of study but also introduced to us new friends and wider interests. Truly, we have profited immeasurably from our years at Roslindale High School. Now the time has come for us to throw off the cloak of adoles- cence and don the robes of maturity, to use the knowledge and ex- perience that our high school years have given us, to take our place in a society which 'has often scorned us as 'tjuvenile delinquents while at the same time it has encouraged us as the Mfuture of America . Our childhood days are over, the fear and doubt, the bewilderment and timidity, the aimlessness and immaturity are all things of the past. ln the years to come, however, we will often look back over these days, reliving our trials and tribulations, our joys and sorrows, our successes and failures. May this yearbook 'be a pleasant record of the brighter memories-tihe happy moments, the triumphs-of our years at Roslindale High School. JOAN LANDRY, '55 Edifm--in-Chief
