For the first time in history, the District track meet was won by a Boslindale track team. They also had fine results at the other meets. The boys in class A B were as follows: James XYallaee, Richard Dowling, Paul Niven, Vincent Nloylan, Edward Mc-f'abe, George Neurneier, Bobert Niven. Frank Murphy, Bu- gene Mullins, Frank Glennon, Gerald Sweeney, Thomas Bonner, Robert 0'Brien, and George NYa lla ce . Vlass I' included Robert Keele, Bobert., Fhristensen, Norman Drews, .Iohn Moceia, James Kelly, Robert l'atter, XYilliam Kenney. Participating in Vlass D were Thomas Bloylan, James Vavanaugh, YYilliam Gavin, Gerald Dolan, Anthony Nieotera, James NYhite. To Voaeh Murray and all the members ol' the traek team go our heartiest congratulations for their most successful season. BasebaH As sure as spring comes, comes also baseball, one of :xIl10I'lC2llS favorite sports. Al- though seven of last year's starting players have graduated, there is a fine turnout of boys, including five veteran playersg namely, John Patchett, Dick Dowling, Gerald Sweeney, Henry Basile, and George Flynn. Voach Murray holds high hopes for a successful season. Baseball is always one of Bossie's best sports. Last season the nine had the best 1'ecord of any Boston high school team with the exception of Boston College High School, and this year looks good also. The pitching staff will be reliable and effective, and many hard-hitting batters are sure to de- velop. Boston fans may have trouble in deciding whether they like the Bed Sox or the Braves better, but ltossie fans should have no trouble making up their minds.
