To Mr. XVarren we bequeath our gratitude for his kindness. tolerance. and guidance. Filled with his inspiring teachings, we leave less afraid to face life's uncertainties. To the faculty as a whole. our guides through the labyrinth of education. we leave our appreciation of their endeavors to make of us educated men and women. To Miss Connor we leave a French class which won't think that Robespierre is Baby Snooks' brother. To Mary Flahertys, or Betty Minkles. Miss Cogan we leave a senior gvm class without any Mary Gavins, To Miss Harrington we leave an entire class that can read, write, and speak English. were so impatient that when the opportunity to go to college came they hastened oft. But this was not alll Some fiend had devised the torture of physical education every day to make us supermen and superwomen. XYe did not waver. although the effort to keep hidden our canes and crutches was almost as great as keeping our labored breathing and creaking bones unheard. Time has flown, and now we leave the school which has been like a second home for three short years. no longer ignorant sophomores. conceited juniors. but scholarly young men and women, who. having come through three years of laborious work. endured great torture, physical and mental. go forth into a war-torn world to conquer all that stands in our way. with the same unflinching strength that brought us through this. our senior year.
