K THE END CROWNS THE WORK In the fall of 1954, fifty-five enthusiastic students entered Rosholt High School to begin their Freshman year. One of the bright spots of that year was our initiation, which we enjoyed to the utmost. Our class advisors were Mr. Walter Oestreich and Miss June Clark. We elected the following as class officers: President, Nick Blaskig Vice-President, Wallace Check, Secretary, Martha Rebeck, and Treasurer, Emily Schulist. Student Council Representatives elected were James Kluck and Annette Laska. Martin Czerwinski, William F iltz, and Maynard Gutho left our class during the year. As sophomores our enrollment decreased to fifty. John Burclaw, Frank Ostrowski, Emily Schulist, and William Tuskowski did not return. However, Agnes Brezezinski, Bernice Platta, James Stoltz, Alice and Eleanor Wiza joined our group. Class officers elected for that year were: President, Joyce Hintzg Vice-President, Phyllis Bernag Secretary, Irene Glinieckig and Treasurer, Peter Gilbertson, with Kathleen Laska and Norman Grosnek as Student Council Representatives. Our class advisors were Mr. Robert Hodell and Mrs. Maynard Zdroik. The following left during the year: Donald Glodowski, Andrew Kaminski, Leonard Ostrowski, and Ted Tuskowski. In our Junior year, Bernadette Glischinski and George Wilkowski joined us. Agnes Brezezinski, Joyce Hintz, Kathleen Laska, Annette Laska, and George Wilkowski left our class, bringing our enrollment to forty-five. We elected Martha Rebeck as Presidentg Anthony Essex, Vice-Presidentg Onufry Karch, Secretaryg and Grace Peterson, Treasurer. Elaine Kaminski and Pat Pehowski were our Student Council Representatives. Our class advisors were Mrs. Gerald Dobbe and Mr. Walter Oestreich. This was our most exciting year, the year we received our class rings, gave our class play, and held our Prom. We presented our class play, Take Your Medicine directed by Mr. William Wagner on May 1, 1957. This was ahowling success. May 11 was the enchanting day of our Prom. The theme was Young Love . James Omernik and Martha Rebeck were crowned King and Queen. The dreamy Prom music was furnished by Benny Graham and his orchestra. At last our Senior year! With an enrollment of forty, we felt confident, ready for anything. We again demonstrated our dramatic ability in the production of Girl Crazy directed by Mr. Wagner. Our class officers were: President, Anthony EssexgVice- President, Jim Omernik, Secretary, Martha Rebeckg Treasurer, Bernadette Glischinskig Student Council representatives were Phyllis Berna, Pat Pehowski, and Onufry Karch. Our Advisor was Mr. Frank Hanna. Our Baccalaureate Services were held on Sunday, May 18 in the new gymnasium and the Commencement Exercises were held on Tuesday, May 20, 1958, in the new Gymnasium making us the thirtieth class to be graduated from Rosholt High School. Now that we have four years of hard work and pleasant memories behind us, we can look forward to the future with confidence, no matter what vocation or occupation we choose.
