One of the bright spots of that year was our initiation, which we enjoyed to the utmost. Our class advisors were Mr. Walter Oestreich and Miss June Clark. We elected the following as class officers: President, Nick Blaskig Vice-President, Wallace Check, Secretary, Martha Rebeck, and Treasurer, Emily Schulist. Student Council Representatives elected were James Kluck and Annette Laska. Martin Czerwinski, William F iltz, and Maynard Gutho left our class during the year. As sophomores our enrollment decreased to fifty. John Burclaw, Frank Ostrowski, Emily Schulist, and William Tuskowski did not return. However, Agnes Brezezinski, Bernice Platta, James Stoltz, Alice and Eleanor Wiza joined our group. James Omernik and Martha Rebeck were crowned King and Queen. The dreamy Prom music was furnished by Benny Graham and his orchestra. At last our Senior year! Anthony tells us he made his fortune selling Costly Cosmetics . If you are lucky you'll get a chance to chat with NICK BLASKI who is very busy making personal appearances, plugging his new picture, I'm Painting the Town Red. Nick is Metro's hottest property.
