THE PRINCESS MARRIES THE PAGE This play is a charming interlude with a theme that might have been taken from an old fairy tale. A princess sits in her tower, when a gay young page breaks in on her privacy. There follows a war of words, accompanied by soft looks. Suddenly an alarm is sounded, soldiers are marching to the tower. The page is not a page at all, but the son of a neighboring ruler. This entitled the cast to enter the district contest held in Stevens Point whereit also received an A rating. The next step prior to the state contest was the sectional, also held in Stevens Point.
