Every- thing has come so fast and furiously that we haven't had time to stop and count the days and months. lt all started in 1946 with llO of us trekking up the hill to stately old R.J.U.H.S. and becoming lost in a tidal wave of algebra, dances, general science, games, world history and rallies. The first event that really introduced us into campus life with the big Play Day, when we were invited to see how big-wheel high schoolers go through their paces. Then after two weeks of school we were all asked to attend the gala Freshman Reception. Our Sophomore year was a big one for us because we had now become big- wheels ourselves, participating in most of the clubs around the campus and taking part in a great many of the activities. As Juniors we really outdid ourselves by putting on Plantation Party , our jumbo Junior Prom. Some said it was the best prom ever and who were we to disagree? Our Senior year found us caught up in a whirr of octivity, holding most ofthe maior positions in the Student Body and other organizations around the campus. Baccalaureate and Graduation Ceremonies ended our high school careers. And now it comes time for us to depart from our rounds as high school students and go out into the world to get jobs or maybe to continue our educations at institutions of higher learning. On the threshold of life, now, we hope that our four years in high school will help us on to success and happiness in life. Joe Montero Vice President
