The B team was made' up of mostly Freshmen and Sophomores and even though they were inexperienced, they had a fairly good season and several players showed great promise. A BASKETBALL Frou! BOYS' BOXING SHOW The Boys' Boxing Show was again a great success this year with eighteen boxing events and two blindfold matches. This year, the J. B. Erickson Sportsmanship Trophy was given to Dave Free. This award is given to the outstanding boxer of the evening for his boxing, sportsmanship, and the manner in which he conducts himself in the ring. This award is the envy of all Roseville Boxers. All the bouts this year were rough and slugging affairs which proved to the people of Roseville that boxing is indeed a popular sport. Some of the outstanding bouts this year were those between Dave Free and Tony Segarra, Bob Rowe and Leo Clark, George Sachs and Gus Demas, Layland Friberg and Harlin Amick. All of these bouts kept the audience in a constant whirl.
