[f s aftA SbfW For her perpetual loyalty, friendliness, and aid to all around her, the RHS Annual Staff proudly dedicate this annual to Mrs. Irene Bur- lison. In the twelve years she taught here at RHS, she was sponsor of the annual for eleven years. I'm sure you all know someone who stands out in your memory as a hard worker. The one who is always doing his own work and most of everyone else's. The one who never com- plains about hard work, who toils and slaves and actually enjoys it. I am sure we all feel that these people should have some recogni- tion for their unending service. RUSSELL JACKSON Assistant Superintendent Superintendent's Message My sincere congratulations to those who have made so many valuable contributions to this outstanding yearbook. The staff, the sponsors and all individuals who have worked enthusiastically to provide this pictorial record ofthe 1972-73 school year are to be commended on a job well done. This is an endeavor that will increase in value with the passing of each year. May the pictorial scenes in this annual help you to remember with pride and a real joy of your school days. To each of you, I extend my very best wishes for continued happiness and unlimited achievements in all of your future endeavors. Sincerely, Curtis Bradshaw Superintendent Principal's Message The purpose of education lies not merely in communication in the realm of the written and spoken word, but also in the areas of physical, moral, and social development. It’s the aim of this school administration to prepare you as a graduate in a way that you will be better fitted - not just to be a member, but a serving, contributing part of the society in which you must live and work. We have much of which we can be proud and thankful because we live in these United States. It is still the land of opportunity, still the land of freedom, and still the land where we can most fully enjoy the blessings of God. May I challenge you to do what you can to sustain these freedoms for yourself and your countrymen. To Mr. Phelps and the staff I want to extend my appreciation for your contribution of pre- paring this record of the 1972-73 school year.
