PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE Rosepine School has been a large part of my life for more than thirty years. For twenty- five of these years, 1 shared a warm association with Ivey Calhoun who was my teacher, my co-worker, but most of all my friend. Therefore, accepting the principalship of this school was to me indeed a high privilege. I want to thank the faculty, other school employees, and especially you students for the patience, assistance, and cooperation exhibited by you in what has been a year of adjustment for us all. The compilation of this yearbook has involved a tremendous task by the editor and her staff. Thanks to you for making this book a reality. I would like to wish success to each of you who are graduating; however, success comes more through work than wishing. Success is not a chance thing, but something on which you can depend if you set specific goals and are true to your God as you strive to reach them. Sincerely, Byron McCain, Principal We, in the Elementary School, feel it is our responsibility to help each student build a good founda- tion in order for you to further your education. We desire to help each of you to develop mentally, physically, socially, and emotionally to the best of your ability, in order for you to become citizens of which we can be proud. Sincerely, Leroy E. Garst Elementary Principal

As you review the many accomplishments in this publication may you find inspiration to help you continue worthwhile activities. Best wishes. Sincerely, Curtis Bradshaw, Superintendent CURTIS BRADSHAW
