Superintendentes JITessaye This school yearbook reveals ftiuch more than a pictorial record of school activities. It records pro- gress and the deep meaning that school associations and friendships have in the lives of our young people. This yearbook shows an excellent record of per- formance with a balance of classroom and recreational activities. Let us think of these accomplishments as steps on our way to the highest ideals in our demo- cratic society, where we are privileged to work and play together. May we all realize that no organization equals a purposeful school community in its promise for better things to come. My best wishes to each student represented in this book and to each person having a part in it's publica- tion. Sincerely, JJoarc of C (fucatiori Cunis Bradshaw, Supt. Woodhatch, our school board member of Vernon Parish Schools, has worked faithfully to make our school worthy of recognition. His place is high in the hearts of the student body and faculty, who have all worked with him. We express our gratitude for his many years of service to us. BECAUSE he has given his days to youth--at times not a very rewarding oc- cupation. BECAUSE he has helped to make our school year better than ever. BECAUSE you were there when we needed you most, we give to you the most precious gift we have to offer--the dedication of a year of work, a year of 'V?' memories. Mr. Woodhatch, we dedicate our book to you. js •'« i . V' ;v. - %. • A. s • w-... v-■? •.•Si' - i'
