The Rosenwald Chorus The Rosenwald Chorus, which is under the direction of Mr. J. B. McCormick, is composed of students who have fine voices for singing. Although most of the members are new this year, much progress has been made. Only three boys remained who were members last year. The bass sec- tion was hard hit when JjmiesJButler, a former member, was called to the army. Edward jWnes, a new member, was also called to service. The chorus made its first appearance of the year in chapel. The students enjoyed the selections that were rendered and several encores were given. On Thursday night, April 19, the chorus was invited to appear on a program at Loyall High School. On April 27, the chorus appeared on a recital which was given by The Women ' s Improvement Club, a new organization in the city. The members are looking forward with anticipation for a successful appear- ance on the commencement program. There have been favorable comments from audiences, who were not dis- appointed when they heard their rich, melodious voices blend in such perfect harmony. The Dramatic Club The Dramatic Club, under the supervision of Miss Alfreta Jackson and Mrs. Fannie Shobe, has made much progress during the year. On Friday, April 20, the club presented the play: Tiger House. There was not enough room to accommodate the immense crowd and many people were turned away. However, the play was repeated the following Saturday night so that they could see it. H A
