Junior Class President Julian Ray Moore Vice President James Butler Secretary Edna Farrow Assistant Secretary Reatha Fay Jackson Business Manager Isador Knox We, the Junior Class of 1944 and 45, are proud to present to you the Class News. Now we have spent three years in the halls of Rosenwald and have en- joyed it immensely. We have taken part and have excelled in many of dear Old Rosenwald extracurricular activities, such as basketball, football, Girl Reserve and dramatics. We had for Co-queen of the Red Devil Squad none other than the lovely Miss Myrtle Copeland with Co-captain Ray Moore (who is a Junior) presenting her. The lovely Miss Ruth Frazier of the progressive Junior Class was the Sweetest Sweetie of the Rosenwald Girl Reserve Club. We also had the pleasure of having Mrs. Susie Jackson who is the winner of the most popular Home Room Mother contest. Mrs. Jackson is the mother of Reatha Jackson of the Junior Class. We had one casualty of the year. Daniel Clark met with an accident on the football team. Members of the Junior Class that are in the armed forces are: Pvt. James Butler, stationed in Washington and Edward Barnes who is stationed in Alabama. The Juniors led all other classes in their contributions to the Red Cross. We had three juniors with roles in the play Tiger House which was given by the Dramatic Club. They were Earl Simpson, Mary Brooks and Ray Moore. The mighty Junior Class will contiue to extend their gratitude and hospitality to Dear Old Rosenwald till victory is accomplished.
