■ i ■ ' t X V id Class Prophecy By Sadie Mae Horton and Or a Lee Tarrant As I was walking down Boulevard Place in San Francisco, California, I glanced up and saw a sign which read as follows: The Queen of the Clarinet and her all Girls Band will be presented at Club Zombie for four days beginning tonight at 9:30 P.M. As I walked in she (the Queen of the Clarinet) began to play an old familiar song that reminded me of my high school days at Rosenwald. When the song ended I looked up and she was looking at me smiling, then came slowly to my table; when she spoke I recognized her as Miss Sadie Horton who was in my graduating class from high school. What are you doing for yourself now, Ora Lee? she asked. I ' m Dr. Milton Stamps ' secretary. He ' s the head Doctor at the Johns Hopkins Hospital at Baltimore, Maryland and we ' re here on our vacation. Dr. Stamps then came over and we began a conversation about the days we spent together in High School and began wondering about our classmates. I, Ora Lee then mentioned that Doris Barnes was in town and the owner of the Madame Barnes Beauty Shoppe and Geneva McKinley, the most Famous Styler, was working there. We all went to the Beauty Shoppe and through con- versing we learned that: Jessie Bester is a dietitian at the Warfield Clinic in Princeton, New Jersey. Bessie Mae Tye is the head nurse at the largest hospital in Rhode Island and is expecting to own half of the hospital through partnership. Miss Doretha Caddell is an actress and plays the leading role in Our Destination. Newt McCravy is the world ' s greatest trumpet player and is given the title: Master of the Trumpet. He is now in Beverly Hills, Calif., playing at his own night club.
