The season record was 8 wins and O losses. Six senior boys closed out their careers in a blaze of glory. They were Wilard Jenkins, Dale Taliaferro, Darrel Williams, J.K. Huffaker, Eugene Saunders and Earl Shultz. Saunders, Huffaker and Shultz were selected on the All Confer- ence team, Williams made both the offensive and defensive second team. Shultz was an All State selection at halfback and Williams was on the second team as a halfhack. Richard Carr, Sonhomore end, was also an All Conference selection and second team All State selection.
