The Class Prophecy In the year of 1970, A census we decided to take, f 415' ' To review the class of '55, Just for old times sake. I ' We Question Kay and we find, In matrimony, she's way behind. , 9 -W Said she, I'm such a fool, En old maid and teaching school. I Next in line is Willard J., He tells us he had a test today. 0 ' In college you have a lot to do, Poor Willard can't get through. Kathleen is doing quite fine, As hostess on a big airline. I'm glad to be safe and sound, With both feet on the ground. Dum De Dum-Dum, here comes J. K., He says I'm having a real rough day, I haven't caught a crook all year, I've began to wonder why I'm here. We are told that Dale will soon be here, He is a most famous engineer. He is working in Cumberland Ridge, Building a rival to Brooklyn Bridge. Here comes Sandra moping in. Through the years she's grown more slim. She studied nutrition and such, Butcit looks like she didn't learn much. At Patty's house is lots of noise, For she has six mean little boys. She works a lot, but little other, Everyone says she is a good mother. Carolyn says she's late for practice, She is now a famous actress, She works all day on a T.V. Show, And sings at night on the radio. They have won every basketball game, so Earl has both fortume and fame . Patricia runs a fancy beauty shop, All her work is right on top. , 5: She said she got a funny stare, When on the floor fell a lady's hair.'7 ' Next we meet Donna in her store, Her motto is 'Selling Wigs Galore'. Donna says my store sells hair, which is to cover up what's not there 4 I Many would like a job like Earl's, Cause he has a job, coaching gir1s,Q5 f S Darrel's job requires a lot of luck, For you see he drives a dynamite truck. He say's, my truck's not one to rob, But light a match and I'd lose my job. The next one we see is Norris Brock, From him we get quite a shock, We find that Norris is in jail, With ten angry wives on his tail. In the movies Jo Ann Mc. makes her career, Selling popcorn, year by year, She says this job puts me all a flutter, Shelling popcorn and melting butter, A traveling saleswoman is Ima Jean, The fastest talker you've ever seen. She sells stamps and stationery, So she'l1 have enough money to marry. Dereva has written a b0Si seller book It was published in Life and Look. Her latest is really a honey, She sells her books and makes lots of money. Here comes a lady with her car in reverse, It's Shirley, a private nurse. Shirley says she's a lucky human, Because she works for Harry Truman. Step right up and make your bids, Says the lady auctioneer Bhd 811 her kids. It's Jo Ann Morrison, selling snakes, Here is a girl who has what it takes. I Doyle roars up in a brand new car, As a hot rod racer, he's best by far. rz. He won the international speed race, At 100 miles an hour, he set the pace. 'N And she says with a soft little sigh, I plan to be married by and by. We have lost one classmate, Johnny's been gone since graduation date. , - Several thought that he was dead, But others say he's home in bed. Eugene will arrive soon we're told, We're shocked to hear he's a bachelor bold. He walks right in with a jaunty air, And displays his money with a flair. The word is around that Jimmy is back, Up north he works as a lumber jack. His job would give many a fright, Breaking up log jams with dynamite. Mary Jo say's her heart is merry, Since she became a private secretary. E ,Vs Thank you folks, we're all through, Here's the class and what they do. x 'gh -is 5,, THE NEW DEL CAFE k TAVERN .
