PAPER STAFF m ,E The Blu 'n' Gold Staff, advised by Miss JoAnn Friberg, published an excellent school newspaper this year. In order to create new interest in their paper, the staff members made several changes in the Blu 'n' Gold. It is now publish- ed eight times a year, and the cost of a subscription is much lower. The most important change of all, however, is in the Quality of the writing, which has improved greatly. Since many staff mem- bers are juniors and sophomores, the future Blu 'n' Golds promise to be equal- ly good. In the cheery Blu 'n' Gold office, editor Lynne Waldeland and advisor Miss Friberg discuss page plans. 39

YEARBOOK STAFF For the first time in the history of Rosemount High School, the Rohlan Staff was composed of seniors, juniors, and sophomores. Mr. Boy warter, who proved to be an excellent yearbook advisor even though he had never worked ln that capacity before, explained the reason for this type of staff. nlt takes time to learn to put a good yearbook to- gether. Prevlously, only seniors were allowed on the staff, the knowledge they gained by working on the Rohian could not be used to the school's ad- vantage again. With this new arrange- ment experienced staff members will always be returning to work on the future Roh1ans.H In their spacious office, co-editors Diane and Norma, advised by Mr. war- ter, plan a yearbook page. 38
