C0-CAPTAIN Harold Baughman L Joe Springer xp, SENIOR PLAYERS LEFT to RIGHT: Francis Sieckert, Joe Springer, Harold Baughman, and Julius Evans -X--X-6? -12-K-32 This year the Rosemount squad consisted largely of Sophomores and Juniors, with four Seniors participating. The Irish dropped their first six games to Minnehaha Academy, St. Paul Park, North St. Paul, St. Agnes, Lakeville, and the Homecoming game with Sibley. In the last game of the season with Mahtomedi, the Irish showed their fans that they could really play ball. The Rose- mount boys ran all over the Zephers by a score of 19-2, which put them in fourth place in the final placing of the Little Six football standings. It was the last game for Francis Sieckert, Julius Evans, and co-captains, Joe Springer and Harold Baughman. when the boys returned to the shower room after the last game, they were all very jubilant and thanked Mr. Fates and Mr. Nayman for the fine work and leadership they had given them during the 1952 season. The Seniors wished them all a very successful 1953 season. its . ig , gi Basketball en uni 1 ' were snall nex p T19UCLd, neekbto 11 Pls y D T ey ian on11 VP e nefurm t rnen, Hon V 1 1 e Snrlnger, and Urennlf S1PCkPTf Toe +wo ofner W n w 0 mede un Y Q+er+1ng D w Delmar Scbmenz a Cop omore, P T r , Bra Iunnor 9o+n Snow nucV nromlee or 'Fe 'u+ure mfe +eem we e un 'Un + 91' lack P GIQV My nerd ple an +ne W111 +o mln mnnnw ook P 1++ mo DTUMI lng For fh neX+ C neon, Wliy JC men on + e G nr+1n enven Fon 1 14 ep' F yd Deereon, nn T11 OQt F T 0 D3 f ee' 0 +19 f HBH +eem Have mede much nrorreev + 11 Of' 'HQ UTOPVAQC wwf QM r+ Paf 0 fc 1- rd o 2 WF1 V' r 61a on nax CWM N1 DOW PAL 0 Hg ki A Team ,1 H xxx X FIRST ROW LeRoV Holman, Ierrv Brand, Bob Daly, Joe Snrlnger, Franc1s S1SCk9Ft, SECOND ROW Ray Menowald, M8Ff1H Lareon, Devnd Toombe, Wlovd Pearson, Iemeq Oster, Sam Wood, Mr. Patee. 38 ,1 A f Q . . 2 2 5 A The ROS 13 , r',1,J' a .W , 3 - A 'f e ' . 2 .... .fa tg-Im ef. ,hyl ' xx xk'4f',?F ' , 1 . u 1, lk - 1 f 11 tl Q- .,1 'ing .e .e . - 1 .5 y, oo f A e H , V he .v 1'1j fiv, were 'V 1 A'. , , H . end -e rv nn, a - ' . . 1 V I . p ' 4 1 , V nd . . ,H 'A , o, F 'jet .j Lf Y 3 Ad 41 V. 1 ,.A- AM ,Q 1.'nQS 1 . 1 11. le re 1'S'.
