UCI L IE The Social Science department, headed by Mother Mary Lawrence, is divided into four helds of study. Economics, history, political science, and sociology offer a variety of courses for the student who chooses one of these fields for major concentration while minoring in another. The Social Science department strives to attain an understanding of people and states, in an attempt to give its students a broadened outlook on the world situation.
