GIRL' LE GUE SERVES GU D MATH LUB CGM PETE Girl s League is one of the service clubs on the Rosemead High School Campus The mam goals of the club are to give service to the school community and to have fun Some of the many activities that Girl s League are In Dance All Club Food Sale Christmas Basket vlsltlng convalescent homes and holding banquets honoring our Varsity teams The club is not all work and no play During the summer the club plans to go to Catalina ls land and spend time basking in the sun The sponsor of the club was Mrs Rosa Rangel Numbers Numbers Numberslll Thats what the Math Club IS mainly involved with This new club on campus competed ln different math competitions during the year Some of these competitions included the California ln these competitions the Math Club got a chance to go against thousands of schools across the nation The Club also went on field trips to the University of Southern Callfornla and to Grlfflth Park The Math Club had a successful fundraiser by selling candy The sponsor of the club was Mr Monk Smith Bang' Bang' The Gun Club is a very serious club The club has learned how to handle guns and safety loo The Gun Club consists of members who want to learn about guns and their multiple uses Before they were al ma Hunter Safety Course Every month the Gun Club goes to various target shooting areas Their mann event during the year was the Competition Shoot The event involved many different schools The Gun Club s spon sor was Mr Roger Armstrong volved with are the Annual Backward's Math League and the National Math League, lowed to shoot, they had to pass the Califor- 58fClubs iuuu1,.,, Members of GirI's League were: Top row: Dawn Morton.
