WITH A LITTLE HELP FROM E ERIE D There are some things that are absolutely necessary to get us through high school: Money. a pet who is a great listener. and a good friend. Friends are by far the best things in the world. Without them we wouIdn't get those special hugs at just the right moment. homework to copy when our dog ate ours. or someone to laugh hysterically with for no apparent reason. Another big part of high school life are fads that are popular with the students. Fads on campus ranged from music trends to fashion to modes of transportation. Music boomed out into i985 with new wave sounds to heavy metal beats. Fashions showed us the dying of Madonna lookalikes to the new paislies. oversizeds shirts and antique jewelry and brooches. Modes of transportation brought us vespas. scooters. and ten speeds. while cars were still ever popular ways to get around. They seem to be constantly changing and you have to be really with it to keep up. We go through many different types of friends during our four years in high school. Each are special in their own ways. and each have different ways of expressing themselves to you. like for instance hugging each other and handshakes which is better then giving each other kisses or hugs. High school life can be fun. exciting. confusing and downright depressing. But with the help of our friends we all seem to survive our minor problems and have someone to tell our triumphs and secrets to. Tliiif l. Some of the stylish students at RHS. 2. Marty. Eddie. and Richard think their styleis number one. 3. One of the hot. new ways of transportation around town. l4!Fads And Friends f .L X fs-Q f l f '.'s:.s- K' X ,- ' s f ' Q J y --1 a ,,.-.vw . .
