EW COAC GUIDES SOCCER The Varsity Soccer team was coached by Mr. James Taite in his first year at Rosemead. Com- peting in a well rounded league. the team ended the season with five wins ten losses and two ties. In the preseason, the team tied Temple City, I-I in a close thrill- ing game. While in league, the team played many close games. One of the most exciting games of the year was against Mark Keppel, where the team led at halftime only to lose at the end of the game. Some of the outstand- ing players included Jesus Cypres, Gabriel Rocha and Igna- cio lnostros. Coach Taite com- mented, The team worked hard and showed a lot of spirit.
