Nearly 2000 students, a record number, and a 'fine new gym are truly records to be proud of. But they alone do not make A RECORD YEAR. What does make A RECORD YEAR? Do the student body officers, those students who receive awards, the teams, and the administration make A RECORD YEAR? No one will deny that these people are leaders and help to make A RECORD YEAR. But without good followers there could never be good leaders. Every student helps to make A RECORD YEAR. ln striving for indivi- dual betterment each student strives to better his school. Accomplishments and achievements of every student become records for Rosemead High. All students who have added to their own knowledge and experiences have contributed in making this year at RHS A RECORD YEAR. ln the words of Longfellow: Lives of great men all remind us We can make our lives sublime, And departing leave behind us Footprints on the sands of time. Each student who has recorded his footprints in the halls of Rosemead High this year has helped to make A RECORD YEAR. So this school year comes to a close-a year of success, a year of facing defeat and trying again, a year of surprises, a year of pleasures, a year of sorrow, a year of gladness, a year of new experiences, a year of accomplishments - A RECORD YEAR!
