After twenty-six years of public school service in the field of athletics and music, Mr. Music wil be missed by the student body and all who were fortunate to be associated with him. His tireless efforts to place our school district on the music map of America, and his success in training young musicians will be lon g remembered. The Panther student body salutes him and hails W ll - ' e Done, Best Wishes! Mrs. Ruth Mayer, who has been head of the art department since opening day, was also forced to retire late this year because of illness. She has served the El Monte Union High School District since l928.
