The goal of Mr. William Stoskopf, a fully in- strumented concert band, was reached this year with a membership of '75 and the addition of several in- struments needed to fill out all the chairs. In spite of the size of the group all members were fully uni- formed, the result of the continuing program of ROBO, the Rosedale orchestra and band organiza- tion, the school administration, and the members of the band itself. The basic service of the band is, of course, fur- nishing the music for football and basketball games, as well as presenting half-time entertainment. This, however, was but a small part of the group's activi- ties, for they seemed to be constantly on the move. Early in the fall they attended the K. U. band day, marching in the morning parade and playing at the football game half time. They were again a featured band at the American Royal, the third time in five years, Where they presented a special drill in honor of Oklahoma day. Among the honored guests was the governor of Oklahoma. In addition the band again participated in the American Royal parade.
