l llWe never know the true value of friends while they live. We are too sensitive of their faults; when we have lost them, we only see their virtues? So speaks a wise counsellor. School days should be happy days. Many opportunities are offered for your self-improve- ment. You can be what you will to be by holding yourselves consistent. Reflect upon your present blessings of which every man has many. Not on your past misfortunes of which all of us have some. To the departing members of the class of ,55, may I suggest that the one who wins is the one who works. Who uses his hands, his head, his eyes: The one who wins is the one who tries.
