C7 CJ Q ii ittle uld l Know what the hidden sec rets of the culinary art were until 1 shot snows the girls preparing some of the better dishes whlch they learn to in this class Miss Rose also teaches t classes how to serve correctly in t dinin room adjacent to the cafeteria i Rosie The Riveter must have gotten training here with some of our industrial metal tools to good advantage This snap is of the fifth hour class working on the lathes and sheet metal projects This class will prove to be a great value in the after war years of reconstruction and revertlon to peace industries The Music Goes Round and Round and Comes Out Here At least that's the idea about radio But the class is finding out that there is more to it than that This shows the students in a more studious mood pouring over their homework and try ing to make Mr Brown think they are Build a Better Mouse Trap is the title of the song suggesting how to get ahead in the world These fellows are not only' learning how to build a better mouse trap but how to make furniture look its best and how to fix the little things that go wrong with a house as far as wood is con worth the grades they get cerned Daydreaming is the by-word of the li- brary. This is the one place where a fellow can get to himself and away from the cruel, hard life of a high school and simply dream of the world as he would like to have it. All kidding aside the library is the place to go when you really have to get some work in. at 1' The Music Stopped and all because of one little sour note. Mr. Brown and the orchestra members are shown going through the paces on a new number in preparation for one of their many school perform- ances.
