They spon- sored the singing group La Tuna. Spanish clubs from around the area came to the performances held in the RLHS gym. The RLHS Spanish Club also spon- sored a dinner. Everyone's favorite Mexican dishes were served. The proceeds of the dinner went to Mary jane Rameriz. The Spanish Club took two trips. They went to San Antonio and spent an action-packed day experiencing the Hispanic culture found in the ci- ty. The club also went to Six Flaes for their end-of-the-year trip. In order to raise money for these trips, the mem- bers of the Spanish Club sold snacks at basketball games and Rice Krispie treats at lunch. All in all, the Spanish Club had an active and beneficial year.
