First, was the welcoming of new head coach, Lynn Spivey. Secondly, was the promotion of many “junior players” to the Varsity team. The team was split into two parts: those who advanced to the Varsity team and those who joined the freshman team. Under rhe direction of the Cougar coaching staff these Cougars charged through rhe season with five wins, one tie, ond only four losses. At the end of rhe season, the Freshmen were joined by several JV players who stayed on the team for the last five games.
