HONOR SOCIETIES BANQUET The annual NHS and NJHS Banquet was held on Saturday, April 28,1979 in the River Forest Banquet Room. Awards received were: High Salesman, Chip Hejl and The High Sales Group included: Eliz- abeth Huddleston, Chip Hejl, Sheryl Scheffer, Karen Greger, David Ernst, Jes- sie Velasquez, Mike Voltin. and Matt Bor- ing. Honor Graduates were also recog- nized. Recipients of the NHS scholarships were Nancy Michalewicz and Shirley Marek. The new officers of the NHS and NJHS were also installed at the banquet.

FHA BANQUET The annual FHA Parent Honor Banquet was held on April 3,1979 in the Snack Bar. Entertainment was provided by the Cougette Drill Team in the Cougar Gym. HECE BANQUET The annual HECE Employers Honor Banquet was held on May 3. 1979 in the Cougar Gym. Employers honored included: Cedar's Cafe, Country Kitchen, Dairy Queen, Gibson’s Discount Store, Rosebud-Lott Schools, Rosebud Medical Services, Ruble Drug Store, Service Floors, South- er’s Supermarket, Sugar n’Spice Bakery, Tasty Mart, The Western Fair, and Zip’s Drive-In. Guest speaker was Mrs. Ruth Wingo. 23

OEA BANQUET The annual OEA Employers Appreciation Banquet was held on March 15,1979 at the First Bap- tist Church. Awards received were: High Sales: Marilyn Frei and runner-up, Erlinda Martinez, VOE Student- Of -The- Year: Brenda Roessler. All Employers were recognized and received special gifts, includ- ing, Ed Reynolds Chevrolet, First Baptist Church. First National Bank, Halbert’s Medical Service, Lott Auto Supply, Marek’s Tex- aco, Pearson Grocery Store, Rose- bud-Lott l.S.D.
