They went on field trips, worked on the float for the Christmas parade, had class meetings every month and went to O.E.A. contest. The spring season brought on the Employers Banquet which was held May 3. Plaques were presented to all employers and senior co-op students. The president, Rhonda Bringman and vice president, Doris Wilberg, were awarded a trophy for being Outstanding V.O.E. Students . There was a slide presentation and the skit that went to Contest pre- sented their performance of the Sting . The banquet was concluded when the students presented Mr. Yezak with a gift. They sponsored Christmas decorating and bulletin board contests, the Movie Trinity Is Still My Name. and a powder-puff football game. The council entered a float in the Christmas parade, sold val-o-grams at Valentines Day, and held a banquet to honor all members. The council was also elected to the position of parliamentarian of the Central Texas Student Council Association for the 1975-76 school year. Each coach recognized his various sports and players. Those recognized were girl’s volleyball and basketball. Caroi Fulbright; girl’s track. Dave Edmiston; tennis. Don nie Glenn; golf and basket ball. Chester Springfield; track. Gary Williams; base- ball, Raymon Puente; and football. Bill Owens. Coach Owens presented the football award plaques. Larry Johnson received the Most Valuable Offensive Back, and Roy Rodriquez was named Most Valuable Offen- sive Lineman. Most Valuable Defensive Back was present- ed to James Thornton and Most Valuable Defensive Lineman went to David Skala. Ray Rabroker was named Most Improved Player and James Sell received the Fighting Cougar Award. The invocation was given by Lee Roy Williams. Pastor of the United Methodist Church of Lott. George Hearne, Pastor of the Meth- odist Church in Rosebud, gave the welcome and bene- diction. The banquet ended with the school song led by the cheerleaders.
