Mr. Hudson has guided the Rosebud-Lott Cou- gars to the state playoffs in class AA football. Only through team effort can a group achieve this high goal. Off the field he is a dedicated teacher and a friend to everyone. For these reasons the staff proudly dedicates the 1972 COUGAR TALES to Coach Rodney Hudson. 4 Bwd Cock, J . JcuuO't P8oy The Junior Class presented as their play, Up the Down Staircase by Bel Kaufman. It was about an over-crowded New York school. The stu- dents from R-L enjoyed presenting their version of the play to the public. The setting was a modern classroom in the poorer section of New York. 39 Q d l P?£ty On March 9 and 10, the Senior Cl ass had the pleasure of presenting their class play, THE HOBBIT. Through three weeks of practice, the cast perfected everything from plate tossing (center left), to climbing in bar- rels, to fighting dragons (bottom left). The play cast consisted of around 35 members which really filled the stage when all were on. All in all, it was a great play put on by the Senior Class. Senior play, the worry of sum- mer jobs and the relief of getting out of school; all this is graduation. Yet graduation is much more. It is a feeling of nostalgia; you have reached a goal in life, but you will miss the pep rallies, school parties and, most of all, the everyday relationships with friends.
