Left to right: Chet Larsen, Chairman, H.R. Ike Nees, Jack Dawson, W.A. Smith, and Frank Lange. Mrs. Ruby Jackson, Clerk The School Board is a group of men who give countless hours of their time to the welfare and operation of our school. It is an almost thankless job and yet they are ex- pected to meet all obligations and make all decisions to the satisfaction of the public. Our Board has worked unceasingly this year to make our school function in only the best way. Early in the year, Mr. Ed Bott resigned and Chet Larsen was appointed to fill this vacancy. Later, Fred Luhman resigned and Ike Nees was appointed to fill this vacancy. Because Fred had been chairman, Mr. Larsen was named chairman. Despite the fact that these men were new at the game both gave untiring efforts to learn all they could about the school program and lighten the burdens of the teachers and personnel in the system. The group as a whole worked well together and aimed for better working conditions, a better school system and higher standards in education. Although not all these goals were accomplished, the road has been paved in that direction and these aims should be achieved in another year. Mrs. Ruby jackson was appointed clerk of school after Mrs. Bott resigned. These six individuals have done a magnificent job in making our past school year such a suc- cessful one. 7 Sedan! Zacvwl

. . 3 l So time has marched on and another yearhas become history! You are a privileged group. In many lands and in many parts of our own land the number of people gradu- ating from High School is small as compared with those who do not go sofar. The fact remains that you are fortunate, and that many people much older than any of you are envious of the fact that you have acquired so much education. Make the most of that education. It is not necessary, in fact, it is discourteous to boast, to consider your- selves superior to those less fortunate, but it is wise to use the knowledge becoming to a graduate. As you do so, may Rosebud High School remain deeply enshrined, both in your memory and in your loyalties. A cting Principal
