With increasing demands for the transformation of the potential of our natural resources into kinetic energy and consequently into work, the demand for men of applied knowledge in this field is great. The mechanical engineering course is therefore designed to give the fundamental background of mathematics and science required in the analysis and solution of technical problems. 16
