C Q F c g h t I n g In a surprise attack on the powers of evil at the early part of the school year, the students of Rosati-Kain. by consecrating the school to the Sacred Heart, forced the enemy to retreat. Reverend Vfilliam li. Schweinher. SJ., in command, assisted by the Cap- tains of the Fighting 69th. Sister Mary Timothy. S.S.N.D.. and Sister Mary Alma, C.S.xI.. led the attack. The strategic tactics employed were: First, the hymn. On his recent tour to St. Louis. Gene Lockhart. the famous Catholic actor, visited Father to tell him how much he enjoyed the program. He said he knew of many other stars willing to give some of their time and talent to help spread devotion to the Sacred Heart. The result is a series of programs slated for February, in which famous Hollywood stars. Ann Blyth, lrene Dunne. Vfilliam Ciargan, Xlr. Mary died a few months ago. but the memory of her devotion to the Sacred Heart still lives in the minds of those who knew and loved her. The hush in the auditorium assured Father of the inspiration he was in- stilling into the hearts of his audience. After the informal talk, Father blessed the pictures each class presi- dent held, and led the students in the Act of Consecration.
