Lally. as t i vas? . 3 ' i Physical Fitness Program Intramurals take up the slack for those boys not participating in Varsity' or Reserve sports. Volley' ball was added this y'ear. A Tournament of all the four grades in basketball was held as was the annual 401-402 senior game. A morning conditioning class was started this year with the idea of keeping the athletes in year round condition. Weight lifting, corrective exer- cises, wrestling, and tumbling make up the basic features of this new class. The Coach We feel we can't let the Campanile go to press without trying to put into words our appreciation for those two stout-hearted menfthe coaches of Rosary' High. We will remember them for many reasons. who will ever forget the if-elmieal called on Trees Sharrock for praying too long between quarters? And we'll always remember Mr. liob lrvinss jovial sense of humor that kept all in high spirits. But these are trivial things, of course. The treasure we carry' away' with us is one we will grow to appreciate more as life levies its taxes on us. Their training and example taught us not only' high ideals of sportsmanship and fellowship. but also the love of God and neighbor. This love they nourished at the table where strong souls find their strength-the Communion rail. When Rosary stalwarts gather. they'll recall those hard-driving coaches with affection and gratitude.
