Father Metzger has heen to ns a kind adviser, a tine friend. and a good morale builder. Father was here at Rosary for three years and during that time he was most willing to help us in any way. He was a loved part of our lives in church. at school and at our games. No one regrets his ahsenee more than the teams. Father was always an ar- dent fan and an enthusiastic rooter. lint Father will he missed not only hy us. but hy the people of lloly Rosary parish. To quote Monsignor. Holy Rosary has had a litany of priests. loyal, willing, devoted. hut outstanding to a degree that deties exposition. Father Metzger can step into a sick room and step out. leaving nothing of himself and an abundance of spiritual comfort. consolation. resignation to Gods will and a desire for sacraments.
