She claims she is famous for repairing radios and for her multi-colored hair. but we hail her for her logical answers to those tricky questions we meet with in class. Jo Annt-'s ready wit makes her a welcome guest wherever she goes. W ad I AGNES ESHELMAN lJon't you agree that she is photogenic? But then-. the camera has good material to work with. She is famous for her scrapbook of corsagcs. dance programs. and sou' venirs from school. Agnes is a general favorite who has quietly contributed much to senior and school activities. JOHN FLYNN YYalt Disney would do well to meet this cartoon' ist who puts a million and one laughs in every sketch. Be Careful of this lad, for he sees you as you are and spares no one when the brush and pen begin to twirl. Jack en- joys baseball more than a meal, wrestles like a vet- eran: and is famous for his constant. cheerful grin. SHIRLEY FOX Senior secretary. this excellent student seemed to enjoy operetta practice more than the average stu- dent- it had results. Though shy, she manages a host of friends and a multitude of excellent marks. She travels exten- sively: makes her own clothesg and is, in our opinion, an all around ver- satile miss. JANICE GLAU DER Junior and Senior class- treasurer duties have proved that Janice keeps her accounts and ours up to par. An honor stu- dent, a pianist, a persist- ent little miss with defin- ite ideas, Janice has more than enough executive ability to manage the flor- ist shop of which she dreams. DOROTHY GORDON Blonde, blueaeyed, with a friendly smile. our Dot will make someone a wonderful secretary some day. She eolleets records and actually hoards snap- shots-see her billfold if you don't believe it. All of us owe her mueh for her quiet. unselfish serviee to our activities. AGNES GRAMLING She is small, quiet. but oh, so likeable. Agnes eame to us from Corpus Christi in our junior year and from reports, she thinks Rosary is tops. She likes history, football, and poetry. and has traveled far from hotne in the states. just among us. she is famous for an intrigu- ing. winsome bashfulness. Her favorite subject is Englishg her present hobby, writing poetry: while swimming and diving have brought her fame. Though hlary l,ee is tht- baby of the elass, she has kept her marks up with those of her elders. JOSEPH GREENE Art editor of school pa- per. twoaletter man in track, this Rembrandt of our senior class has won three scholarships at the Columbus Art School. The state judges at the Ohio State Fair awarded him seeond prile for por- trait painting in oil. All elassmen agree that the future should bring re- nown to our artist and lin- guist. XIARY KAY IIOSEY kklbat Posey is pret- tier to behold? Dress de- signing and modeling at one of our leading- depart- ment stores takes much of her time. but she manages to have some left over to be eharming to all Rosara ians. Nlaybe the lakes and lofty heights of the Switzerland Alps which Ziggyl' vis- ited a few years ago fur- nished the inspiration. The helpful hand she lends to all Rosary affairs, especially in the decora- tive line, shows her un- limited generosity. CHARLES KAISER Like all Rosary men Chuck is charming, loqua- cious and assured. Ilis Hoor talks are the pride oi' the sociology class, and his smooth appearance the envy of the rest of the school. A member of the R club, he merited his letter by his defensive work on the varsity foot- ball squad. EUGENE KRAFT If you need a good pic ture taken, developed, and printed in a hurry, see Kraft Inc. Flash bulb Gene , the orhcial school photographer, has had much experience and has been an invaluable mem- ber of the Rosarian and CAINIPANILE staffs. As Dr. Dozous in The Song of Bernadette he gave evi- dence of another of his talents. Versatile is the word for Eugene. MARY KRUTKO The tall, dithdent sen- ior, to whom most of us must look up, Alary has little to say that is not worth while listening to. She is dependable and co- operative, a competent typist and a bowler of no mean ability. A member of St. Thomas Parish. Alary is devoted to all its interests. ionx juiii As chairman oi' the cir- culation committec, he does most of the circulat- ing in the famous Jule coachf' that is a miniature school bus. Jack shows us what the well-dressed man should wear to attain an air of distinction. As a lover of music, he goes in for the drums, and claims he hears every band that comes to town. A curly-haired Casanova, 'lack will long be remem- bered for his pleasant per- sonality. JUDY KING The girl with the inter- esting eyes is the latest ad- dition to our class. She came from New Albany and in a short time has become one of us. Her hobbies include sketching, skating, and swimming. An A student with little apparent effort, Judy dis- cusses earnestly and de- bates convincingly. Our only regret is that she de- layed her coming to Ro- sary so long. SALLI KRAMER Famous for her last minute marathons, Salli usually times her arrival at one minute after the buzzer. She claims her sole ambition is to be the instigator of an explosion in the chemistry lab. A vivacious addition to the C. Y. O. and the Rosary Canteen, Salli is also an enthusiastic participant in all school activities and is irrepressible in supporting the basketball team. BARBARA KUI IN As elusive as quicksil- vcr, Barbara is the petite and vivacious member of our class. She is known for the blue of her eyes and the lightness of her dancing feet. She has evi- denced her dramatic abil- itv and is an interested and interesting contribu- tion to all classroom dis- cussions. ALICE MULHOLAND Here is a lass with an air. Vibrant and versatile. Alice has been an invalu- able member of our class for the past three and a half years. One of the top three on the Honor Roll she has our vote as the girl most likely to suc- ceed. She possesses an inexhaustible enthusiasm, and the ability to be most charming while firmly ex- tracting dues and fees. VVe know. VVe elected her Treasurer of 402. City high- point man in '46, he made the Citizen All Central District Tournament Team in '47, The rosy blush of this smiling Irish- man is as familiar around Rosary as his '33 Chevyy XIenelope. K.-XY MURTHA If you are looking for the friendliest sniile in Rosary, Kay has it. Silence is not one of her strong points, but a willing help- fulness is. Her loyalty and ready laughter win for her many friends. Her secretarial accomplish- ments are not to be under- estimated. EILEEN MERCER A little person with big thoughts, Eileen's queries go to essentials. Her think- ing is straight and her en- joyment of life, whole- some. She plays a most noisy game of basketball from the sidelines and ranks as one of the team's loyalist followers. Reading rates high with her: her spontaneous smile rates with us. THOMAS M ULHOLAND Tom has shown a real spirit of perseverance. lle started in dramatics as a stagehand, became man- ager of the stage crew, and ended with a lead in the presentation of The Song of Bernadette. He is a member of the R Club and holds a three year record in football with letters to prove it. As one of the business managers for the yearbook he has done an eflicient job, but then Tom always comes through with the goods. MARJORIE MEYER Klargie possesses the gift of sharing with others something of her own tranquil nature. Ever calm and unrufiled. she makes herself a friend to all of us. She is diminutive, but determined. and has shown herself most elli- cient in secretarial science. s., 1 5 PATTI MYERS Rosarys favorite blonde.
