To our parents Who have formed our ideals. . . To our teachers Who have guided us in our pursuits . . . To our parents Who have sacrificed their time, money, and pleasures For our Rosary education . . . To our teachers Who have sacrificed unselfishly, hours of each day To our many endeavors . . . To our parents and teachers Without whose help, these memories would never be ours For them We ask God's blessing . . . To them We, the class of 1957, express our prayerful gratitude And dedicate this Memory Book, Act IV , In thoughtful appreciation.

Dear Seniors, Remember our prayer for you Be as womanly as Mary Be as faithful as the Virgin Mary Be as loyal as Mary of Nazareth Be as holy as the Mother of God. Wm. B. Murphy, O.P. Dear Seniors: When you become graduates of Rosary College, you will be our letter to the world, a message written not on tables of stone but on the fleshly tables of the heart, carrying truth and charity to a dis- turbed world. We shall pray that you may hold to your convictions and, as daughters of the Queen of the Rosary, share with others through word and action the light and happiness that are yours. Affectionately yours in Our Lady, Sister M. Timothea, O.P. Dear Seniors, The Lord keep thee from all evil; may the Lord keep thy soul. May the Lord keep thy coming in and thy going out; from henceforth now and forever. Psalm 120. Sister M. Fredericus, O.P. My dear Seniors, Soon you will graduate. The prospect of your doing so has led me to muse Who is the Rosary graduate? I have seen her fill varied roles. She is the sister in the white or black, brown or grey habit of religion. She is the mother, seemingly casually, always courageously, bringing up her children. She is the doctor caring for body and spirit. She is the teacher helping to stim- ulate the intellectual development of her students. She is the American ver- sion of Anne O'Hare McCormick's Woman with a Broom , cleaning up the world at home. In a very little while you will take your place beside her. May you play the role fully and happily, bringing rich blessings to yourselves, your fam- ilies, your college, your parish, and your country. Sister M. Candida, O.P.
