CHAPLAIN OF ROSARY COLLEGE Dear Students: It is gratifying to me that Rosary College's Activity Book is dedicated to the Blessed Mother, our special Patroness. It is pleasing to find yet another expression of that deep love for the Blessed Mother which is felt for her by the faculty and students of Rosary. We, as members of these United States, are dedicated to Mary under her title of the Immaculate Conception ; as members of Rosary College we are dedicated to her again under her title of Queen of the Most Holy Rosary. In comparatively recent years our Blessed Mother has appeared to man twice: at Lourdes as the Immaculate Conception, at Fatima as Queen of the Most Holy Rosary. Thus she has chosen the second and third last invocations of the Litany of Loretto. We may hope that she will deign to visit us yet once more, this time under the title of the last invocation, that of Queen of Peace. It is my hope that you will help to hasten the day of Mary's next apparition by praying to her under her title of Queen of Peace, so that she will bring with her from her Divine Son true peace, so that she will soon reign over a world which knows true peace.
