There were different activities planned for each day; a grub day, go crazy day, costume day, dress up day and a black gold and hats day. Prizes were given for the best dressed guys and girls. Wednesday night everyone got together and soaped windows to help promote the Homecoming spirit. About 30 students par- ticipated in a snake dance which wound through town and ended up at a bonfire and pep rally at the park. Friday morning a parade and pep rally were held in the old gym with the whole school participating. The game started at 2:30. There were streamers put up on the sidelines, firecrackers lit, confetti thrown, clowns running around and everyone cheering on the Bulldogs to a 38-0 victory over Macy. The final event of the week was the Homecoming Coronation with the gym beautifully decorated by the Pep Club and R-Ciub. The 1977- 78 Royalty was presented and the Homecoming dance began with music provided by Silver Strings. Smith’s Food Market Lyons, Nebraska More Than a Feeling The 1978 Junior-Senior Banquet and Prom was held Friday, April 28, in the Rosalie High school Auditorium. The gym was romantically decorated in pastel colors of yellow, green, and blue. Mr. Eddie Hudson, disc jockey from radio station KOIL, provided the music and special effect lighting for the dance which was well attended. A very special thanks to the Juniors for a beautiful evening, which the Seniors will always cherish. Jim s Standard Uehling and Lyons Implement Co. Mike Jim Phone: Lyons-687-2343 Lyons, Nebr.
