Senior Sneak to Black Hills The Senior Class of 73 went to the Black Hills of South Dakota for their Sneak Trip. They left Rosalie on Saturday, May 5, and returned Monday, May 7. Some of the sights that were visited were Rushmore Cave, Marine Land and the famous Mt. Rushmore. Herds of wild buffalo, friendly chipmunks and a donkey or two entertained the group for a memorable weekend. Sponsors were Mr. and Mrs. Robert Heckathorn and Mr. and Mrs. Norbert Holtz.

Senior Class Play On Friday the 13th of April, the Senior Class presented The Vase. The Vase was a tragedy in three acts. Robert Hecka- thorn wrote and directed the play. The story takes place at a small rural village in Iowa during the Civil War Era. The plot centers around Frieda after Billy, her son, goes to war. Frieda communicates with Billy through a vase that he bought for her. Frieda thinks Billy will die if the vase breaks. The story ends with a cold, chilling climax.
