“CLASS PROPHECY We are here at the thriving metropolis of Rosalie (which has recently become the International Headquarters for Outer Space Tourist Travel) about to leave on a guided tour to Mars. As we climb onto the rocket ship, we are welcomed aboard by the world-famous space pilot, Janice Jet Canarsky. It takes only a few minutes for all the passengers to get in their seats and ready to begin. The steward, whom we immediately recognize as Jim Barada, is now passing lollipops around to the child- ren and telling us to fasten our seat belts. Soon after the rocket takes off, we are delighted to learn that entertainment is furnished along with the trip. Elaine Sailors on the violin has teardrops forming in her eyes as she plays the very touch- ing melody, The Bulldog Song. Her beautiful music is interrupted as Jet Canarsky announces over the intercom that we will be delayed a few minutes while the Space Patrol searches the ship for those dangerous space pirates, Gail (Dead-Eye) Bovee and Connie (Slugger) Nelson. The passengers look frightened and are waiting for the steward to assure them that every- thing is all right. But he has fainted and has to be revived by Dr. Kildare’s chief assistant, Barbara Peterson, who is on vacation from the show at this time. The door of the rocket is flung open and the Space Patrol Chief, Larry Richardson, the Eliot Ness of outer space, enters followed by his tough-looking girl Friday, Nancy Peterson. As they search the rocket; their attention is drawn to a suspicious-looking figure crouch- ing behind the seats at the back of the ship. They seem disappointed to find that it is only Charlie Johnson picking up hair pins so he can sell them because he is working his way through college to become an English professor. Having completed their search with no success, Chief Richardson and Nancy leave. We certainly hope they capture Dead-Eye and Slugger before long. The rest of the trip has gone peacefully, and we are now landing on Mars. As we get off the rocket ship, we are surprised to recognize Joyce Ronneau and Diane Kinning selling souvenirs. We learn that they are employed by Ronnie and Donnie Blank, of Blank Bros., Inc., that universally known souvenir company. We are now ready to begin on our tour of Mars and are amazed to learn that our guide will be none other than Mr. David W. Beck. We enjoyed the tour immensely and are now on our way back to Rosalie feeling that the trip was quite worth while. LEWTON PHARMACY SPONSORS DR. EIMERS
