PRGPHECY The Lone Star State held not only long-horns, but Yvonne Allert and Jo Ann Engel, busily engaged in trainin' the kids how to rope and tie a man. On to Kansas where we ran out of gas on a little countryroad. Flagging down two young farmers in a new car, we discovered Clinton McGuire and Willie Eas- ton who were very glad to help us. Arriving in Tuscon, Arizona, we passed the Ball and Dodd Packing Plant where Helen Hall was employed as the chief stenographer to the second Vice- President. ' On to Hollywood, where the former Donna Bishop is head receptionist at the M.G.M. Studios. After a brief tour of the lot we headed toward Santa Monica where janyce Ogden was autographing her latest best seller at Macy's. We turned toward Salt Lake City, where Donna Wells officiates at the Deep Down Funeral Home. We journeyed to Portland where Winnie MacDermid was operating a fashion- able beauty salon. . As we headed homeward, we stopped at Gray's Harbor and visited our former teacher and class advisor, Mrs. Pebley. She spends her time resting on the beach and thinking of the class of '50. Signing off, Your Roving Reporter
