He must cope with a diverse group of individual students and teachers , each with different goals and theories. Confronting angry students, facing school board pressures , establishing rapport between parents and community are among the sometimes frustrating obligations met daily. The members of the administration best known to Roper Students are the Counselors. To Mrs. Alice Hamilton, Mr. Joseph Messina, and Mrs. Juanita Freeman, scores of Roper Students pour out their problems daily. The position requires understanding and the ability to make decisions, and is a center for aiding in the difficult adjust- ment period from adolescence to adulthood . Providing inspiration and assisting in the formation of a student's character are major reasons for our counselors' success. i ,wa 1-lmzefw Qeuenbifaode ! J an ,ws 7 snn p - M Mm Messina Mas.
