This is especially shown by the formation of many new clubs, a marching band, the reorganization of stu- dent council, and the fact that North's library was named the model library of the year. The buildings are the center of attention and activity of the 1,331 students and 66 faculty members who attend it. The school complex consists of the Roosevelt building on the right and the Lincoln building on the left, with the new addition joining the two buildings. . These are the original buildings and the basis for the name Roosevelt-Lincoln Junior High, Students have nicknamed it North Junior High. The addition joining Roosevelt and Lincoln was completed in 1962 after fire destroyed the original building in l96O, which had housed the music and gym departments. The exterior grounds of these buildings are bustling with activity before and after school hours. From 8:30 A,M, to 3:14 P,M, activities stream from class- rooms, library, physical education departments, and hallways.
