Left to right: Albert Kaechele. Joseph Marr. Superintendent Peter J. Jenema, Harold Stoner CPresidentJ, Miss Mildred Mielkie CSecretaryJ, Miss Betty Murray, Harold Perry, Henry Belaski, Harold Jacobson. Board of Education We, the graduating class of 1953,wish to express our sincere gratitude to the members of the Board of Education for the service they have performed for us in the past four years. They used their power in securing our long-awaited scoreboard, and a promise of lights for the field. They were alsoinstrumental in connection with our lovely, new, trophy case. When understanding citizens of a community give up part of their free time to further the development of our public schools, it is bound to be a better system. We would also like to extend a welcome hand to the new Superintendent of Schools, Mr. Jenema. His cordial personality has added much to the school board as it has to our halls. 9
