Bingham, Mrs. Modesta Gamble, Charles Fines, Miss Katharine Woodward, Wesley Doney. SEHIUH SPUHSUHS InSeptember of 1941 our high school careers began. We en- tered R. H. S. as a group of 522 bewildered freshmen. Our freshman and sophomore years were uneventful as far as class activities were concerned, but that came to an end when we entered our Junior year as upper classrnen. Our first activity was choosing our class rin s, followed by our firstdance, T e Pumpkin Prance. Everyone who had parts in or worked on our Junior Play will never forget the fun we had pro- ducing A Young Man's Fancy, We climaxed our Junior year with the annual J-Hop, which we en- titled The Roaring Twenties. On that wonderful day, when we made the auditorium our Home Room, we knew we were really Seniors. With the fine leadership of our class officers and our won- derful sponsors we accomplished many things. We had great fun p r o du c i ng George Washington Slept Here , a terrific play in three acts, as our Senior Play, and we will never forget the work and fun involved in sponsoring the Mardigras as our Senior Prom. There were other things on our minds too. After a lon bat- tle, maroon and light blue finally won out as our class colors. Even in our Freshman Sz Soph- omore grades we were building up to that one great and all important moment in our lives when we would walk across the stage and receive our diplomas. Now that the time has arrived, we are a little scared but happy and we will always re- member the halls of wonderful R.H.S. and hope that it remem- bers uS.
