I.ittle did we realize just how busy. XVe started right off hy electing class officers. lhcy are as follows: President, Earl Poleskig Vice President, Dick Schendelg Secretary, Catherine Heischhackerg and Treasurer, Sunny Stullz. if I might add that they were good officers, too. . No. 2 Slnr , I I Q Joan Scilzer After much debate we finally decided on our colors, motto, and flower. lhe colors are Maroon and Grey: the class motto, The Future Belongs to Those Who Prepare for ltg the class flower, the American Beauty rose. - The Junior play, Dear Ruth , and the Senior play You Can't 'lake It With You were great successes. Our dances, also, went off with a bang. ln the Junior grade we sponsored dances as, the Injun' Chase and the J-Hop, called jungle Fantasy . ln the Senior year we sponsored the Holly Hop and the Prom, called Showboat . These turned out bigger and better than we ever hoped for. Q' Even in the Freshman and Sophomore grades we were building up to that one great and all important moment in our lives when we walk across the stage and receive diplomas. Now that it has arrived, we are a little scared-but happy.
